The shareholders of Chilanga Cement Plc (“Chilanga Cement” or the “Company”) are referred to the announcement dated 6 May 2022 wherein the Company published the salient dates of the Mandatory Offer (“the Offer”) from Huaxin (Hainan) Investment Co., Ltd. (“Huaxin”).
The results of the Offer were scheduled to be announced on Monday,27 June 2022 as per the announcement of the timetable dated 6 May 2022. However, reconciliation is still underway as some of the shares received were in certificate form and need to be dematerialized to be traded.
The Company wishes to advise the shareholders and the market that the results of the offer will be announced on or about Friday, 22 July 2022.
